Kallie Ruland recently joined the Elevate Rapid City team as the Business Retention and Expansion Manager. Her role is to connect with existing businesses in the Black Hills region to facilitate expansion and retention opportunities. In other words: if your company is ready to grow and needs resources, Kallie is your go-to person. A lot of that work is done through visits to businesses in the region, but also through direct outreach from the business.

We asked Kallie a couple of quick questions to help introduce her to the Rapid City business community. Here is what she had to say:

In your own words, how would you describe your role as Business Retention and Expansion Manager at Elevate?

I view my role as a way to help local businesses thrive by connecting them with retention and expansion opportunities.  

What excites you most about joining the Elevate team?

I am excited about this opportunity, because I am passionate about making a positive impact on our region. The Elevate Team works diligently to improve the quality of life of those living and working in the Black Hills.

Kallie is a graduate of Black Hills State University. Before joining the Elevate Rapid City team, Kallie worked as the Economic Development Director for Wall, South Dakota.
