As the Workforce Programs Manager, Krystal helps to remove barriers for jobseekers and build and retain the workforce employers need to grow. Her goal is to connect people with opportunities to learn, strengthen skills, and find meaningful work in our community. 

Originally from Michigan, Krystal graduated from the University of South Florida with her PhD in communication. She brings 10+ years of experience from across industries in tourism, healthcare, e-commerce, energy, and education. She believes building a career is a lifelong journey made easier with a strong support network. 

When not at work, Krystal is often at book club, a local theater for girls’ night, or finding adventure with her partner Alex. She enjoys time in nature, writing, and traveling. One of her favorite places to visit is the public library.
