As Creative Services Director, Bailey captures the essence of Rapid City and its economic foothold, using storytelling to highlight the people, businesses, and quality of life that make this region thrive. Growing up in the small town of Hettinger, North Dakota, she understands the power of a strong, engaged community, and she brings that perspective forward through clear communication and compelling visual narratives.

Through Elevate magazine, social media, educational videos, and photography, Bailey tells the stories that shape our region’s identity. And because strong storytelling helps build strong leaders, she also serves as Program Director for the Elevate Leadership Institute—cultivating leadership, management skills, and community engagement. By elevating the stories of our community, she helps elevate the people who lead it.

After graduating from Black Hills State University, Bailey made the Black Hills her home and launched her career at the Spearfish Area Chamber of Commerce as the Membership and Communications Coordinator. During that time, she also started a small business focused on graphic design and photography. In 2022, she joined the SD CEO West Women’s Business Center, where she curated meaningful business programming and provided marketing consulting before stepping into her role at Elevate Rapid City.

In her free time, you can find her creating, reading a good book, enjoying the outdoors, or relaxing at a local coffee shop. She and her dog, Ollie, are often out exploring the great 605 and beyond.
