Awakening New Passions and Tools for Leadership
ELI equips participants with the necessary tools and inspiration to make a lasting impact through team outings, guest speakers, and lesson plans.
Jordy McPherson shares how ELI has reignited his passion for community service: "My biggest takeaway from ELI was that it was not just a great community; it also just awakened a lot of new passions and desires to meet the needs of the community. It also gave me some tools to do that in my future leadership career."
Exceeding Expectations
The hope with ELI is to surpass participants’ expectations by offering enriching experiences and invaluable connections with like-minded individuals.
Jordy entered the program with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised by the outcomes: "I didn't really have any expectations of this course. I came into it very open-minded. I got way more out of it than I would have ever thought, just the experiences and the people I was able to meet."
Personal Growth and Self-Awareness
The focus on emotional intelligence helps participants understand their strengths and areas for improvement, enhancing their effectiveness in both personal and professional spheres.
Jordy highlights the program's impact on his self-awareness: "Just a lot more self-awareness. We did the EQi at the beginning and at the end. I pinpoint some areas I'm really strong in and maybe could use some work in throughout my career and personal life, with everyone I interact with."
