The Elevate Leadership Institute (ELI) offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals across the Black Hills region to develop as proactive, visionary leaders. Learn from the ELI Class of 2024 Graduate Isaiah M. Judge (JJ Advisor Group), on why you should consider applying for the 2024 - 2025 ELI Program:

Connecting with the Community

ELI's curriculum provides participants with an immersive experience, helping them understand and engage deeply with their local community.

Isaiah M. Judge found the program's community focus invaluable: "It was awesome to be connected to the community with the way we were touring different foundations and different city organizations. It just felt really grounding in Rapid City and our community."

Unique and Engaging Sessions

ELI sessions showcase how collaborative efforts can create significant positive change through the educational and practical insights learned while visiting various parts of the community.

Isaiah particularly enjoyed the session with Love INC: "One of my favorite sessions was getting the tour of Love INC and seeing what they did for the community, all their different partnerships in and around with churches and things like that. Also, one of our service projects linked to that was serving dinner to some of their class attendees for the Love INC program. That was really cool to have it all tied back together."

Professional and Personal Growth

Throughout ELI, participants build strong professional networks and lasting personal relationships, fostering growth in both professional and personal capacities.

Isaiah reflects on his experience: "Professionally, all the different sessions had a lot of great takeaways with leadership, joining a cohort, and working together with people in and out of our community. That's what I'll take away with some of my clients and colleagues in my industry. Personally, I enjoyed meeting with the team and carrying on those relationships and networks. I think that was the most fulfilling part for me."

Career Advancement

The program prepares participants to tackle new challenges and seize opportunities in their careers, equipping them with essential tools for career advancement.

Isaiah shares his optimism: "It's a little soon to tell, but I have the tools to move forward in my career. It's a relatively new career path I'm in. Just learning how to build bridges and build relationships, I think that was the main part that I took away."
