Joe Gray emphasizes the program's practical benefits: "Absolutely. There's a seemingly increasing number of challenges that keep happening in the Rapid City area. This program enables everybody to get together and discuss some of the solutions and collaborate a little bit better."
Unique Experiences

Joe recalls his favorite part of the program: "Maybe it's because it's fresh in my mind, but my favorite would have to be Ellsworth Air Force Base. Today, I nerded out on the B1 Jets for a little while, so I was happy to see that. Still, just such an influence in the Rapid City area with the whole Air Force Base and the technology that's coming; it's just amazing. A lot of optimism for the future around here."
Personal Growth
ELI's emphasis on self-awareness and emotional intelligence prepares the graduates to lead empathetically and effectively.
Joe highlights the importance of the EQi testing, which measures several constructs related to Emotional Intelligence: "The EQi testing was excellent, especially the follow-up session, because it gave us good insight into what happens through the program and what we can observe and change if we can understand ourselves a little better. I'm anxious for the collaboration that's going to come out of this."
