Recently, they started expanding, seeking to upgrade their roaster, packaging equipment, and space. That's where Elevate Rapid City stepped in to lend a helping hand.

Lori Lang of Dark Canyon Coffee Co. shared her experience of how Elevate Rapid City facilitated their growth aspirations. "We were looking to expand with both a new roaster and packaging equipment as well as with increased space. Elevate was able to help us with low interest funding for this project through GOED," she explained.

"A representative from Elevate visited our store, and it was in speaking with her that I was made aware of this program. She followed up with me, and we were able to secure the financing. They worked with our bank and made the whole process very easy," Lori elaborated.

It was Elevate's outreach that brought it to our attention, and we really appreciate that. I know our bank also appreciated knowing about this program. We found it really easy to work with Elevate and GOED," Lori added.

"Being a small business in Rapid City and this state has made us feel a real part of people's lives. We have been lucky to work with other small businesses in the area as customers, vendors, and partners. There is a real appreciation of the great service you receive. It makes us happy to have a loyal following who we get to know. They let us know how important our coffees are in their lives, and when people leave and order our coffees, they tell us how it reminds them of home."
