Jacob Fleck

Jacob Fleck is an electrical engineer with TSP, Inc. and is a licensed Professional Engineer in South Dakota.
Fleck recently passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam, the ultimate requirement for becoming a licensed engineer. The South Dakota Board of Technical Professions issued Fleck’s license on July 21.
PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence, a verification of achievement, expertise, and assurance.
To gain licensure, individuals must complete a four-year college degree from an accredited engineering school, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams, and earn a license from their state’s licensure board. To keep their licenses, PEs must continually improve their career skills.
Fleck graduated from O’Gorman High School in Sioux Falls. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in 2019.
Fleck works in TSP’s Rapid City office. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has worked on various projects across the firm’s Upper Midwest footprint.
