As growth continues to boom throughout Rapid City, our infrastructure is working to keep up. While the city continues to expand, new businesses and organizations enter our market every month, leading us to ask, “what’s that going to be?”
We are all curious, so here are some answers:
1624 Discovery Circle
The Holiday Station building off Elk Vale, across from Flying J is becoming CC Health, a medical cannabis dispensary. Since the legalization of medical cannabis in 2020, South Dakota has experienced an influx of medical cannabis dispensaries. CC Health is working to construct a medical cannabis dispensary and cannabis accessory store, as two separate suites, within the 4,000 square-foot building.
1111 Endeavour Blvd
Located by the Taco Bell on Endeavour Blvd, a 5,500 square-foot strip mall is being constructed. At this time a tenant has not been indicated and the strip mall has space for new organizations and businesses to become occupants.
2014 Hope Court
The Red building in the Buffalo Crossing West subdivision, behind Bin605, is becoming a veterinary clinic. Due to many pet owners experiencing long delays when trying to bring their pets to the vet, an increase in veterinary clinics is needed in Rapid City and the surrounding areas. A shortage of 15,000 veterinarians is projected by the year 2030 across the United States, especially in rural areas, meaning an increase in the number of veterinarians in Rapid City is much needed.
7201 US 16 Service Road
A Complete Concrete paneled remodel is occurring across from the Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center on Hwy 16. Also known as Complete Concrete, Inc. dba Complete Contracting Solutions, the company does general contracting and concrete construction. At nearly 20,000 square-feet, the building also leases to other businesses.
2461 Seger Dr
Beginning the weekend of July 8th and 9th, a local bouldering gym called Black Hills Basecamp will open at its new location on the Corner of Seger & Dyess. Their expansion into an over 12,000 square-foot building will more than double the climbing space and offer a separate wall for private parties and classes.
