Murphy's was the first bar to open in Rapid City after prohibition ceased in 1933. We've always been known as a melting pot of all types of patrons from around the Black Hills & we've raised the bar for what locals should expect from a pub by offering made from scratch pub & comfort food with unique twists, along with 26 beers on tap & a cocktail list that challenges the senses. In order to ensure we'll be around for another century we completed an extensive 1 year remodel that has won us many awards not limited to the 2013 South Dakota Historical Society's award for our efforts to replicate the original look of our building from it's inception in 1910 that has further helped beatify our wonderful downtown.
