In an exhilarating first-ever Junior ELI full-day event, held at The Monument on October 13th, 24 8th-grade students embarked on a day filled with learning and fun. Throughout the event, the students delved into four key themes: communication, decision-making, teamwork, and service.

Maddie Bazala joined the Elevate Rapid City team as the Events & Marketing Coordinator. Before moving to Rapid City and joining the Elevate team, Maddie attended and graduated college in Minnesota at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul alongside her husband, Aidan.

Elevate Rapid City was one of 29 community applicants awarded a $500,000 Strategy Development Grant (SDG) from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) Tech Hubs Program. The Tech Hubs Program is an economic development initiative designed to drive regional innovation and job creation by strengthening a region’s capacity to manufacture, commercialize, and deploy technology that will advance American competitiveness.
