What benefits are local employers offering to attract and retain talent?

Join Elevate Rapid City for a preview of the 2026 Rapid City Region Benefits Benchmarking Report and an inside look at how Black Hills employers structure their benefits and compensation strategies.

Based on responses from 78 regional employers, the report examines health, dental and vision coverage; retirement plans and contributions; paid leave; flexible work arrangements; fringe benefits; pay review practices; and anticipated 2026 pay increases.

The session will highlight key regional and industry-specific findings, helping employers compare their offerings with local practices and identify opportunities to strengthen recruitment and retention. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss the findings with fellow employers and ask questions about applying the data to strengthen their workforce strategies.

This complimentary preview will be offered before the full report is launched and made available for purchase on Elevate Rapid City’s website.

Who should attend? This event is ideal for HR leaders, benefits administrators, business owners, supervisors, operations managers, finance professionals and other business leaders who make decisions related to employee benefits and compensation.

Key takeaways:

  • Regional benchmarks: Understanding how commonly offered benefits, including insurance, retirement plans and paid leave, compare across the region.
  • Industry insights: Exploring how benefits and compensation practices vary among participating industries.
  • Workforce strategy: Identifying opportunities to strengthen benefits offerings and support employee recruitment and retention.
