Join Elevate Rapid City and the Black Hills Home Builders Association for the 2026 Candidate Forum! This is your opportunity to hear directly from the candidates running for office in our community and get answers to the questions that matter most.

Invited candidates represent Legislative Districts 30, 32, 33, 34, and 35, as well as City Council Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Topics will cover the issues shaping the future of our region: housing, infrastructure, growth, economic development, and more. Each candidate will have one minute to address the full room, then the evening opens up - science fair style! Candidates will each have a table set up with their materials, and attendees are free to move from candidate to candidate for real, one-on-one conversation throughout the night.

Whether you're a business owner, a community member, or simply someone who cares about where Rapid City is headed, this is your seat at the table.
