The Roadmap to Employee Retention
In January, Workforce Coffee Connection sparked a strong conversation around employee engagement as a retention strategy. In April, we will continue that discussion by exploring the next step: how organizations build clear pathways for employee growth.
Join us on April 21 as we examine how structured development opportunities, internal advancement pathways, and hands-on training models can strengthen engagement and help employees see a future within your organization.
This session will feature two perspectives: Tenise Chapman of Black Hills Tire will share how organizations can build employee growth roadmaps that outline development milestones, skill-building opportunities, and transparent pathways for advancement. We will also hear from Lilly Stone, HR Director for West River Electric Association, a local employer that has successfully grown and retained talent through apprenticeships and on-the-job training, offering practical examples of how businesses can develop talent from within.
Who should attend? This event is ideal for HR leaders, supervisors, training and development professionals, operations managers, and business leaders who want to strengthen employee engagement and build long-term workforce pipelines.
Key takeaways:
- Workforce trends: Understanding how to grow talent from within using employee roadmaps, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training to develop your workforce.
- Engagement strategies: Designing internal tools for outlining milestones, and advancing employee growth pathways to help strengthen retention.
