About the Speakers

Joei Tieman
Joei joined Ketel Thorstenson in 2014 and has grown steadily into a leadership role within the tax department. With a strong background in agriculture and ranching, she provides expert guidance on individual and business tax returns while helping clients in the ag/ranch niche area thrive. Joei is passionate about helping colleagues and clients grow, sharing tools for success and valuing two-way learning. She holds a BS in Managerial Accounting from National American University and is active in the South Dakota CPA Society, SD CEO, the Black Hills Association of Realtors, and Convergence Coaching

Sarah Davis
Sarah is a seasoned accounting professional who specializes in supporting businesses across the hospitality and construction industries. She leads her team with enthusiasm, guiding their growth while delivering comprehensive business accounting services — including financial statement compilations, payroll processing and tax filings, 1099 and sales/excise tax reporting, plus accounts payable/receivable management. Sarah holds a BS in Business Administration with accounting & business-management from Black Hills State University and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Dakota CPA Society.
