About the Speakers:

Laura Jones is the Housing and Community Development Manager at Elevate Rapid City but also has the pleasure of managing the Elevate Foundation and all the tasks that go along with it, including grant writing. She earned her BS in English and Master of Public Administration from the University of South Dakota. From there, she has spent over 10 years writing and administering grants for medical research institutions, municipalities, and non-profits. Laura’s excited to put her skills to use to help Elevate accomplish some cool things and is delighted to share her knowledge with you today.

Kallie Ruland is the Business Development Manager at Elevate Rapid City, focused on helping local businesses grow and expand. She’s passionate about supporting businesses by helping them tackle challenges, find solutions, and discover resources like financing opportunities. Kallie works to make sure businesses of all sizes and industries in Rapid City have what they need to succeed long-term.
